Church Life

Living together for Christ

Our church enjoys living together as Christ’s Body (1 Cor. 12:27). We aspire to be a community that is intentionally reaching in various directions.

UP

UP-Reach

We are first and foremost a worshiping community. Jesus Christ is our life, and we who are united to him delight to gather together to honor him and learn together about his truth.

DOWN

DOWN-Reach

We seek stable and fruitful lives deeply rooted in the enduring and abiding Word of God. To this end our church nearly always has multiple bible studies or prayer meetings taking place on a weekly basis. Every year, our church members participate in various youth or summer conferences, digging deeper into the riches of Scripture.

OUT

OUT-Reach

We are committed to personal evangelism and inviting people to church. We seek out various ways to serve and establish relationships in our local community, and share the gospel of Jesus Christ as he gives opportunity.

IN

IN-Reach

The Apostle tells us, “owe no one anything except to love each other” (Rom. 13:8). Perhaps the most foundational aspect of our church is that we are a community — a group of people “communing” in each others lives. We delight to gather together every month of the year for our fellowship luncheons. We celebrate baptisms, graduations, weddings, and funerals of those in our community. We seek to engage in each other’s lives, and minister God’s grace in love.
